Elizabeth began practicing yoga in 1998 and has never looked back. Her practice began with a gentle morning yoga video and she continued with videos for about 13 years. When Elizabeth moved to Maryland in 2013, she decided to begin practicing with a teacher at a yoga studio. The old saying "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear" really became relevant to Elizabeth. Working with her teacher, learning correct alignment, breathing techniques and yoga philosophy only encouraged Elizabeth to dive deeper into the practice. She enrolled in teacher training in Columbia, Maryland and became certified at the 200 hour level in November, 2015. Yoga brought balance, compassion and confidence into Elizabeth's life and she is grateful to share yoga with you and to be home again in our beautiful mountain state.
