Her yoga journey began many years ago and she has applied it to strengthen her 21 years of dance studies and competitive swimming. Yoga has been a key part of her training and fitness routine as she journeys the world as a Professional Mermaid known as Wild Wonderful Mermaid.

She is a swim instructor, lifeguard, Rescue SCUBA diver and training in free diving. She uses yoga to focus her mind when at depths near 100' as well as to control her breathing and heart rate.

Nicole loves being a part of the Yoga Power family and has found a home in her practice here. She completed her 200 and 300 hour teacher training in the Class of 2019-20 Yoga Power School. She enjoys being a part of the vibrant community in this studio and as part of the Travel Staff.

She is thankful for the many adventures Yoga Power has provided her and looks forward to more. Whether it be leading a hike, standing on water (SUP yoga), or taking on fears like heights (thank you Snowshoe lifts and Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum ghost yoga) she is packed and ready for the next challenge Yoga Power affords her.
Restorative Yoga is the use of props to support the body in positions of ease and comfort to facilitate relaxation and health. It is a practice of deliberate stillness and requires no muscular effort. This class is a practice of actively cultivating the attitude of letting go and will help teach you to learn how to deeply relax.
