Yoga Power, LLC was founded in 2016.  Owned and operated by Jamie Dickenson (RYT-500), we are located in the heart of the warehouse district of hip, historic Charleston, West Virginia.  We offer more than 100 yoga classes every week in our 6,000 square foot studio. Our inspiring décor, complete with exposed wood finishes in this 100 year old warehouse, provides the backdrop for the best yoga studio experience.

Physical beauty is not what yoga is all about. But there’s nothing wrong with practicing yoga in a studio so beautiful that you can’t wait to go inside! Our space features three practice rooms, performance hardwood floors, retail clothing space, a relaxing lounge area for meeting before and after class, along with a cafe serving coffee, tea, beer and wine. 

Practice room will comfortably accommodate:
Room 1: 15 mats,  Room 2: 35 mats,  Room 3: 100 mats and 20 aerial silks.

Our class schedule offers something for everyone, with class formats including beginner yoga, aerial yoga, power yoga, yin, and even more; restorative, Mommy & Me, meditation…we’ve got it all!

Jamie Dickenson is the owner and operator of Yoga Power, LLC.  She owns two other businesses - IEC Advisors, and Jamie Dickenson, LLC.  She is considered a leading authority in educational consulting.  She is an author, speaker, radio talk show host, trainer, and business coach. She is a 500 hour yoga teacher from the Brown Dog Yoga School in Huntington, WV.  She is also a Certified Aerial Yoga Instructor through Flex Yoga Wooster.

Within the first year of operation, Yoga Power has been recognized as the #1 yoga studio in WV by Best Things WV and awarded the Rookie Business of the Year by Charleston Main Streets.

Jamie grew up in Logan, West Virginia. She attended Marshall University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration majoring in accounting and a Masters degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance.


After college, she spent 15 years as an accountant working her way to Chief Financial Officer of a major coal company. She then became a Registered Representative for a national financial services company where she worked for 5 years.


Jamie started her educational consulting practice in 1998 and became a Certified Educational Planner. She has helped thousands of families through the college admissions and financial aid process. Jamie's dedication, energy, and enthusiasm have contributed to the growth of her business and the success of many life changing decisions she's helped her students make. In 2011, she decided to expand her business to include a tutoring center so that she could help her students lay a solid foundation for a positive academic career.


Jamie was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Upstate New York and was featured as a Success Story for the West Virginia District of the Small Business Association (SBA).


Jamie has delivered over 150 business and motivational presentations for corporations, schools, colleges, associations, and business meetings. She is one of the most in-demand speakers and business consultants specializing in the areas of college admissions and financial aid.


For the past 13 years, Jamie has been a guest speaker on a very successful talk radio show called "Ask the Expert" on WCHS 580 AM. She has been featured in the media on numerous radio and television shows as well as being quoted in feature articles.


She began her yoga practice 12 years ago and loves to practice yoga anywhere she travels.

Studio Manager and Interior Designer
Terri Keiffer graduated from West Virginia State University with a degree in Business Administration and marketing. She also attended the University of Charleston’s Carleton Varney Interior Design School.
After graduation she joined Keiffer’s Interior Design as the third generation designer. She started in the sewing room making window treatments, dust ruffles, pillows and specialty items and worked her way as an Interior Design to being the President of the business. She successfully ran the business until she was offered the position of Special Project Coordinator and Development Associate for The Foundation for Thomas Health System where she remained for the next 11 years until accepting the position of Studio Manager at Yoga Power LLC.  Terri traded in her high heals and suits for bare feet and yoga pants. She is very excited to be a part of building the yoga community in hip historic Charleston.
Terri passions are for her family, friends, animals, yoga and design. Terri was born in Charleston, West Virginia where she currently lives with her cat, Halo.  Please contact her at 
Personnel Director

Krista is a graduate from Saint Albans High School Class of 2002. She attended West Virginia University.


She has a knack for computer software and a love for organization. While Krista has many interests, she loves sports, cooking and helping people reach their goals.


Krista currently lives in South Charleston with her husband, Matt, and their sons, Eli and Nolan.

Certified Aerial Yoga Instructor
Rachel is a senior at Capital High School.  She came to an aerial yoga class with the dance company and fell in love with aerial.  She completed her Aerial Yoga Teacher Certification through Flex Yoga Wooster and now teaches many of our Aerial classes. Her love of dance and ability to connect with students makes her the perfect match for aerial yoga.
Sales and Customer Service Team & Certified Acro Yoga Instructor

Brianna is a native West Virginian. She graduated from Calvary Baptist Academy.  After attending Mount West Community College, she worked various jobs in the Tri-State area.  

Along with working part time at Yoga Power, she works full time at the Coonskin Air Force Guard Base as an AAFES employee.  
She has practiced yoga at home for the last year and she is now happy to be practicing yoga as part of the Team.  She resides in St. Albans with her dog, Ellie.  
She completed her Acro Teacher Training at the Yoga Power School.

Thomas Blankenship is a W.I.T.S certified personal fitness trainer who holds the phrase "keep moving forward" close to his heart...literally. This motto has served him well while rehabilitating himself from cardiac disease and open heart surgery. It was between surgeries when Tom found yoga and he has been hooked ever since. As a result of these experiences, he has a passions for helping other people recover from medical issues and improving their quality of life.  He enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, riding bicycles and weight training. Tom invites you to join him in the adventure of life. 
He completed his 200 hour Ashaya Yoga training with Randy Boyd, his Barre Teacher Training through Brown Dog Yoga, and his Acro Teacher Training through the Yoga Power School.
