Acro Yoga employs body awareness, communication and strength. A regular Acro Yoga practice can promote healthy living in both mind and body through mindful movement. Master Trainer, Angie Edmunds, has dedicated thousands of hours of training in the art of body movement. She also teaches Self Defense and Brazilian JiuJitsu.
Angie's goal is to offer students a safe space to feel empowered with their bodies, knowing that where they are today is exactly where they need to be. Being on this path has brought so many amazing people into their lives. She loves teaching students how to apply yogic principles to a partner acro practice to create a respectful human connection.

The training will consist of 5 modules offered on the last weekend of each month. If the date conflicts with a holiday, the training will be held on the following weekend. See detailed schedule below.

A Next Level 10 Class Pass is included in tuition if you are not a current member of Yoga Power so you can participate in studio classes during the training. Accommodations, meals, and travel are not included in tuition.
Fee is only $999 per person! Yoga Power members will receive their discounts as a benefit of membership: Gold = 5%, Platinum = 10%, Family = 15%. You must maintain your initial membership level for at least 3 months after receiving the discount on teacher training.
We are pleased to announce that our next 200 hour teacher training program for the Class of 2020 will start on June 14, 2019. We have spent a lot of time researching the curriculum that connects with Yoga Power, LLC and its future. Our lead trainers and teaching staff will guide you through a one-of-a-kind Hatha Yoga training program to give you the deepest possible understanding of yoga as both a practitioner and instructor. You may also participate in this training program merely to enhance your own personal practice. We recommend having practiced yoga for one year before enrolling in the teacher training program. Minimum age is 16.

The training will consist of 8 modules offered on the third weekend of each month. If the date conflicts with a holiday, the training will be held on the second weekend of the month. See detailed schedule below.

Our training is very flexible to meet your busy schedule. We understand that life happens and you may have to miss a scheduled weekend. You will have 16 months to complete all 8 modules without penalty. For example, if you miss Module 3 during the Class of 2020, you can make it up in the Class of 2021 training. We have ongoing teacher trainings scheduled for the next 2 years so you will be able to see when the module is scheduled. You will also have the ability to make up your missed sessions privately with a member of our teaching staff by additional payment of $45 per hour.
A First Level 10 Class Pass and a Next Level 10 Class Pass are included in tuition if you are not a current member of Yoga Power so you can participate in studio classes during the training. Books, study materials, accommodations, meals, and travel are not included in tuition. The required reading list is included in your application confirmation material.

This bootybarre Plus™ Instructor Training course includes the bootybarre Plus™ (Module 1) Manual and choreography DVD. You will receive these items when you attend the course.
