Barbara has been practicing yoga for most of her adult life. While at Marshall University as a student, she attended her first yoga class and has been hooked ever since!

 

Many instructors have helped shape her understanding and practice of yoga. During the summer of 2014, Kanawha County Schools offered teachers a class for instructing students in the practice of yoga. After completing this class, she was interested in imparting her knowledge and love of yoga to others.

 

Barb created a yoga club for fifth grade students at Montrose Elementary School, where she is employed as a Speech/Language Pathologist. In addition, she has received training through Yoga Fit Training System in Level 1, Level 2, Kids Yoga and Seniors Yoga. She enjoys practicing as well as instructing others in yoga and feel honored to be employed at Yoga Power, LLC.
