Event - Hip Hop Yoga with Jamie Dickenson Sat, Dec 15, 2018 at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Led by Jamie Dickenson (RYT 500), this Hip-Hop Yoga class is an athletically powered, inspiring First Level vinyasa flow set to your favorite Hip Hop tunes.
In this class, the serene sounds of waterfalls, birds and wind are replaced with hip-hop and soul tunes from acts old and new.  Doing Down Dog to Snoop Dogg in our blacklight room creates a vibe that most neighborhood studios can’t replicate.


Jamie will blast a lineup of Drake, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Miguel, and more new and classic hip-hop tracks, syncing an hour-long vinyasa flow practice to the high-energy beat of each track. The result is an intense, but hugely addictive experience that you’ll want to repeat again and again.


The music gets you out of your head, allows you to get lost in the beat and to find a lightness in your practice. It helps you to remember that you don't have to take life so seriously all the time. Practicing sun salutations to Jay-Z and balancing in Dancer Pose while Beyonce is blaring through the speakers has to put you in a better mood.  Yoga plus great tunes equals magic!

You are invited! Yoga Power, LLC and Jamie Dickenson, LLC are hosting an "Om for the Holidays" Open House Celebration on Thursday, December 20 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the yoga studio.  Our Open House is FREE and open to the public so invite your friends and family.  Make Yoga Power your Om for the Holidays!
Event - Winter Solstice Celebration with Jamie Dickenson Fri, Dec 21, 2018 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
We celebrate the Winter Solstice, a universally sacred occasion honored for centuries as a time to gather around a blazing fire, cheeks flushed and hearts warmed in soulful celebration.

We invite our tribe to celebrate the longest night of 2018, a time to put forth your best intentions for the coming year, with a special yoga class by candle light.
This class is included in all memberships and available on a drop-in basis for $10 per person.
Event - Power of the Full Moon with Angie Edmunds Sat, Dec 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Lunar Acro Jam for the Full Cold Moon Celebration:
This event will explore the Lunar style, or therapeutic, side of Acro Yoga. The difference from Solar is where the FLYER remains as passive as possible with the BASE being the only active partner with exception to the SPOTTER. It’s like a flying massage!
Join Nate Ittig and Angie Edmunds to explore this beautiful practice of freedom, compassion, trust, that slowly allows the body to naturally unwind.
Yogis will work in groups where each person gets the chance to experience floating, as well as learn to properly support one another.  You don't need to have a partner to participate.  Come by yourself and we will provide one for you.

Workshop - Rockette Christmas with Mandy Fish Sat, Dec 22, 2018 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Have you always wanted to be a Rockette?
Put your sequin-covered costume on and learn how to kick your legs up to the sky like a Radio City Rockette!  We know you have always wanted to be on stage with the squad of fabulous high-kicking ladies but that may feel like a faraway dream. 
Mandy Fish, dancer and choreographer extraordinaire, will teach you some of the Rockettes' signature choreography right here in the studio. You can fulfill your fantasy of being a Rockette and create a little holiday cheer with us!
Soft soled shoes only.

FREE CLASS: Christmas Day Yoga with Jamie Dickenson Tue, Dec 25, 2018 at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Join Jamie Dickenson (RYT 500) for a special Christmas Day yoga class. This class is open to the public so you can invite all of your friends and family. This give you the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season with friends, start a family tradition, or simply set an intention to strive for health in the coming year. Enjoy deep, soothing, and stress relieving yoga that will put you in the best of moods for the entire day!
Event - New Year's Eve Yoga & Champagne Brunch with Jamie Dickenson Mon, Dec 31, 2018 at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Yoga & Champagne Brunch

Yoga & Champagne Brunch is different than a typical brunch in that champagne cocktails are served after an hour long yoga class with Jamie Dickenson (RYT 500).


A great yoga class, while enjoying a glass of your favorite champagne concoction, followed by brunch is an ideal way to spend New Year's Eve morning. We will provide orange and cranberry juice so you can enjoy mimosas or poinsettas.  A light breakfast and coffee will be served with your drinks.


If you agree with us that day drinking is totally acceptable, sign up for this fun event! 

Fee is $15 per person.  Must be 21 years old to attend.


FREE CLASS: New Year's Day Yoga with Jamie Dickenson Tue, Jan 1, 2019 at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Yoga helps us shed the old ways of seeing things and invites in a renewed sense of strength and vitality to take on a new challenge, whether it is physical, spiritual or emotional. We invite you to a FREE class on New Year's Day to begin or renew your intention of practicing yoga. This class is open to the public so bring all of your friend and family to start the year off with right.

We invite you to join Jamie Dickenson (RYT-500) for the Will Power Challenge starting on January 2.  This 30 day challenge has two parts: eating clean and doing yoga. 
We will eat clean following the Whole30 plan as described in the book by Melissa and Dallas Hartwig, "The Whole30, The 30-Day Guide to Total Health and Food Freedom." You can start planning now for the January start.
If you are not a Yoga Power member, try one of our 30 day class passes to practice yoga.  You must take your 30 classes at the studio.  Any of our classes will count so you can do acro, barre, aerial or pilates as well as traditional yoga. 
Here are the basic guidelines:
YES: Eat meat, seafood, eggs, vegetables, fruit and natural fats.
NO: Do not eat sugar, alcohol, grains, legumes or dairy.  Do not eat baked goods or treats. 
Please consider taking on this life-changing month:
  • We will focus only on making good food choices.
  • It is not hard.  We will be doing it with you.
  • Don't eat anything you don't want.
  • Does require some effort in grocery shopping, meal planning, dining out, explaining the program to friends and dealing with stress.
  • Don't weight or measure yourself.
We don't want you to go it alone.  Get support from the one group of people who care about you the most! We are here to support your health efforts for the 30 days by offering weekly 90 minute support classes which will consist of 30 minutes of discussion about recipes and tips followed by a 60 minute beginner yoga class.
We hope you will participate in this 30 day experiment to find out if lifestyle changes will improve your energy, sleep and health.  Take it seriously and see amazing results in unexpected areas!
The Will Power Challenge is FREE and open to the public! Minimum age to participate is 16.
