Bring the kids and come play in the forest!
Learn how to connect with your children when in nature while finding your own inner child. Discover playful and safe activities to help you responsibly enjoy time in the woods.
Get the family together and join us as we hike the Davis Creek Trail. Angie Edmunds (E-RYT 200) has been leading children and adults out in the woods for years and has compiled a lot of tricks to keep things relaxed, fun, and educational.
Awaken your creativity, use all your senses to commune with forest life, and tap into the restorative effects of play.
This event is especially designed for ages 5 - 12 but all are welcome to attend.
Fee is $10 for the first child and $5 for additional children. Parents attend for free.
Workshop - Self Defense 101

Self Defense 101: Join Angie Edmunds and Ted Malone for a step by step tutorial explaining the defense of common street attacks, including weapons.
Angie is a lifetime martial artist with over 10 years of experience. She has an in depth knowledge of practical self defense. Everything taught is easy to learn, simple to execute and is very effective.
Ted is a Captain with the Charleston Police Department where he has served for 25 years. He has lifetime experience in martial arts and specializes in training people in self defense.
Fee is $20 per person.
Event - Yoga Hikes Charleston

Yoga Hikes Charleston is an active, fun, and social way to have a cardio-based yoga experience while exploring the great outdoors of hip, historic Charleston, WV. Yoga Hikes combine the cardio benefits of well-paced hiking with the strengthening moves of yoga for a group workout that is accessible to yoga practitioners of all levels.
Yoga Hikes are led Angie Edmunds who will keep you moving, provide hands-on assists, and help you advance your yoga practice. She is also a knowledgeable trail guide who will take you on routes that combine hills and distance for a great overall workout.
Yoga Hikes foster a fun social atmosphere so if you are looking for something awesome to do outdoors and want to explore more of Charleston, join us for Yoga Hikes Charleston.
We will be hiking Mossy Rock Trail at Kanawha State Forest. Pertinent details will be sent to participants by email the week before the hike.

Lunar Acro Jam for the Full Sturgeon Moon Celebration:
This event will explore the Lunar style, or therapeutic, side of Acro Yoga. The difference from Solar is where the FLYER remains as passive as possible with the BASE being the only active partner with exception to the SPOTTER. It’s like a flying massage!
Join Nate Ittig and Angie Edmunds to explore this beautiful practice of freedom, compassion, trust, that slowly allows the body to naturally unwind.
Yogis will work in groups where each person gets the chance to experience floating, as well as learn to properly support one another. You don't need to have a partner to participate. Come by yourself and we will provide one for you.
Fee is $10 per person.

We celebrate our second anniversary with a Yoga Power members only event! Join Jamie Dickenson (RYT 500) on Monday, August 27 at 5:30 pm for a one hour yoga class followed by dinner prepared with love by the entire Yoga Power Team made especially for you.
Members only includes anyone enjoying a Yoga Power membership. Due to the limited nature of this event, we can not accommodate non-member guests.
