Retreat Coordinator, Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT® 500, YACEP), Certified Level 2 Lagree Trainer, Certified Suspension Teacher, YACEP, Certified Acro Yoga Instructor. She is a Yoga Alliance qualified Lead Trainer for the RYS 200 & trainer for the 300 Yoga Power School.
Lindsay began doing yoga at home with YouTube videos but quickly fell out of it when she had no accountability. After taking her first yoga class, she fell in love with the community she found. After sticking to yoga classes for over a year now, Lindsay feels like she has found a whole new person inside that she's slowly unlocking.
She was a classroom teacher for 10 years and is an avid horse rider. Lindsay combined her love for yoga with her career by introducing her students to pranayama and asana techniques to calm their bodies and minds. She is a graduate of the 200 and 300 hour teacher training from the Yoga Power School Class of 2019 -20.
Lindsay currently works as an Independent Educational Consultant at Jamie Dickenson, LLC in Charleston where she specializes in working with students in grades K-7. She dedicates her time to educating students of all ages in yoga and loves to see when students "get it".

Yoga - Next Level
Next Level Yoga classes are for clients who feel comfortable with their yoga practice. Instructors may teach all poses at any pace.

Lagree - All Levels
The Lagree Method is a high intensity, low impact workout that targets all major muscle groups through slow, controlled movements. Its unique combination of strength, endurance, and flexibility training has made it one of the most popular fitness regimens in the world.
All Lagree classes have a minimum age limit of 16.
Lagree is taught on either:
(1) an elevated M3 MegaFormer loaded with an 6 spring system or
(2) on MicroFormers which lay flat on the floor. We offer the same challenging exercises on both machines.

INFRARED Power Yoga
This class is offered in infrared heat. Arrive 15 minutes early to secure your spot on the floor. Heat is determined by how close to the infrared bulbs you position your mat.

Immersion - Chakras
Join Lindsay Heywood (eRYT 500) for a full day immersion learning about the Chakras.
Throughout this immersion, you will learn about each of the 7 chakras in depth and will do various activities, poses, and meditations to deepen your understanding of each chakra.
You will learn how to write yoga classes themed on each chakra while also learning how your chakras influence your personal life and how you can unblock them to achieve a higher state of being.
Lunch break from 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Yoga Teachers will receive 8 hours of CEUs from Yoga Alliance.
Flexible 300 YTT Students receive CEUs and hours towards the 300 YTT.
Fee is $199/person. Flexible 300 YTT Qualifier. (200 YTT)

Retreat - Yoga & Wine Welcome Class
Welcome to the yoga retreat! Let's begin the retreat by getting to know one another and enjoying a glass of wine!
This is a yoga class as well, so bring your yoga mat and be ready to practice.
Must be 21 years old to consume alcohol.

Retreat - Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga class holds poses for 1-5 minutes to give you more relaxation in your practice.

Retreat - Yoga All Levels
Hatha yoga class taught to all levels of practitioners. The teacher will give modifications for beginners and how to take the practice to the next level for advanced yogis.

Welcome to the retreat! Let's get together and start the weekend with an All Levels Yoga class. Please bring your yoga mat and get ready to meet the staff and your fellow yogis.

Retreat - Sunrise Yoga
When the sun is rising or setting, there is a magical feeling in the air, that of the light changing and another day beginning or ending. This is the perfect time to practice yoga and remind yourself to let go of the daily things you can't control.
Sunrise and Sunset Yoga offer you the perfect time to be out in nature and feel like you are on top of the world with the breathtaking view from Snowshoe Mountain.

Retreat - Yoga Hike
Yoga Hikes are an active, fun, and social way to have a cardio-based yoga experience while exploring the great outdoors of Snowshoe Mountain.
Yoga Hikes combine the cardio benefits of well-paced hiking with the strengthening moves of yoga for a group workout that makes hiking and yoga even better when added together.
IMPORTANT: These are hikes, not walks or strolls. Be prepared to hike.

Enjoy a childhood favorite - S'MORES!
Bring warm clothes (maybe even a ghost story) and enjoy time with fellow yogis talking about the retreat, reminiscing on times past, and looking forward to the future.
