Jamie's journey into yoga began as a personal solution for relieving sciatic nerve pain. She found that, in addition to reducing her discomfort, practicing yoga brought other significant benefits to her overall well-being. Experiencing these benefits firsthand, along with her passion for helping others, inspired her to dive deeper into yoga and become a teacher. Jamie is a firm believer in making fitness fun and accessible. In addition to yoga, she is licensed to teach Zumba and believes that fitness should be available to everyone, regardless of experience or ability. She received her 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate from the Yoga Power School Class of 2024.
Off the mat, Jamie is a proud mom and grandma. She has worked for the State of West Virginia for over 20 years in the accounting and auditing fields. Jamie is also a member and volunteer with the Kanawha Valley Master Naturalist Program, where she enjoys sharing her love of nature with others.
